Carmel School Celebrates 130th Birth Anniversary of Dr Ambedkar

“Cultivation of mind should be the ultimate aim of human existence”. “I like the religion that teaches liberty, equality and fraternity” ...130th Birth Anniversary of Dr Ambedkar, the architect of the ‘Constitution of India’ was marked at Carmel School on 14th April 2021 by the faculty.

The programme began with a Prayer Song and the lighting of the lamp by Sister Sarika , the Principal, Sister Rose Agnes, the Administrator and Sister Marline, Mr Karunakar , Mrs Vijetha .Readings from the various Scriptures were recited and the faculty prayed for all the needs of our country, thanking God for the contributions of Dr Ambedkar. Mrs Liffin annotated the significance of the day. The programme ended with a Bhajan.
