International Women’s Day at Carmel School, Mangaluru

Mar 8, 2021 : Carmel School celebrated Women’s Day, honoring the ‘Women Achievers’ in various fields - Rev Sister Maria Jyothi A.C, Founder Principal, St Agnes Special School, Mrs. Tabasum , Director , Snehadeep, Mrs Shilpa, Entrepreneur ‘Hallimane Rotti’ and Miss Sparsha D’Souza the Alumni , Carmel School, Advocate, who has been raised to the position of Civil Judge by the High Court. The guests were ceremoniously welcomed with Pot symbolizing the role of a potter in shaping and moulding the clay, a Seed which tries to give life to human kind and a Diya that brightens the lives of others, as these Superstars had accomplished. This was deeply appreciated by the dignitaries.

All the celebrities shared their personal experiences that led them to choose these fields of service and this in turn had a magnetic and emotional impact on the gathering. All the guests of honour were role models for the student body as they have excelled in their own realms of service and task.

The programme was efficiently compeered by Mrs. Sonia Rodrigues, Words of Welcome by Mrs Deepthi K G and Vote of Thanks by Mrs Nisha Menezes.

The guests of honour and achievers were felicitated with a shawl by Sister Maria Lucy A.C, the Joint Secretary, garlanded by Sister Sarika A.C, the Principal, bowl of fruits by Sister Rose Agnes, the Administrator and the citation was read and presented by the Faculty.
