Festival of Diwali Celebrated at Carmel School

Diwali the festival of lights was celebrated in the school auditorium on 30th October 2019. The programme of Diwali was put up by the students of class I. A colourful backdrop was put up which well fitted for the occasion.The celebration began with a small introduction of Diwali followed by a prayer service by the students. The students welcomed the gathering with a dance.

The happy smiling faces of children spread the light of joy in the hearts of viewers. After the dance the skit was played with the social message of Green Diwali, Eco friendly Diwali that fosters ‘No crakers’, ‘No sound’,’No pollution’. The skit was followed by a dance and an action song.

Sister Gracy the Vice Principal lit our festive mood as she gave the message of Diwali. Students and the staff members went home carrying the message of love, peace and joy of the festival.
