To help Kindergarten children identify various colours and know more about them “Pink Colour Day” was celebrated on Saturday, 24th November 2018. Children and teachers came dressed in different shades of pink. Teachers had decorated the classroom and the corridors with streamers, pink flowers and balloons.
A short stage programme was given by the UKG students to know more about the colour pink. The programme was presided over by our Principal and Vice-principal and the children welcomed them with beautiful flowers handmade by the teachers.
Programme was compered by the UKG children and it began with a prayer followed by a prayer song and few children spoke about the colour pink. Children sang a song on the colour pink and showed various objects and props. They even danced to the pink colour song. Children enjoyed the programme and were very happy and delighted. They brought an onion each as a part of community service to mark the pink colour day.
A “Pinkalicious” corner was set-up wherein all types of delicious and yummy pink delicacies were displayed. Pink colour wafers and chocolates were distributed to all KG children. It was a pinky Saturday to remember.....
