The Kindergarten Graduation Day is a special milestone and this ceremony is a great opportunity to celebrate their learning and recognise an important phase in the life of a child.
Kindergarten Graduation Day was celebrated in Carmel School with great pomp and enthusiasm on 21st March, 2023 in the School Auditorium.
The solemn ceremony commenced with a Prayer Song that provided detail of every little thing that God has created and helped the audience to realise, appreciate nature and be thankful to God for being a part of His beautiful creation. The Tiny Tots rolled out the red carpet with the eastern and western forms mingled seamlessly in the fusion dance comprising of Classical and Western -Welcome Dance a beautiful, stylized exploration of a rich culture, with both structural rigour and emotional depth. As the product of accumulated labour and wisdom, the farmers’ dance by the students of LKG - remained an important expression of the cultural heritage of India.
The Motivational Song “I Can Do It” stressed the fact that there is always a silver lining to one’s cloud of struggles. The lovely, heart-warming story of Rainbow Fish was enacted with precision emphasizing the virtue of Sharing followed by an Entertainment Dance that left the audience spellbound. The most important part of the day- Graduation Ceremony started with the smartly attired Graduates walking to the stage for their KG convocation. The Principal, the PTA Vice President, the Parent Representative and the Chief Guest felicitated the students with Certificate of Graduation.
Proud Parents of little graduates Tejal Shetty, Dishaan N and Hamsika Mallya in their speech appreciated the hard work and the patience of the principal and the faculty members during the period of lockdown with the online classes. They also shared their anxiousness and worries during the pandemic about the future of their wards. They congratulated the little graduates and wished them well for their bright future.
The chief guest of the day Sr. Marie Lucy congratulated the budding graduates. She briefed the parents about the contribution of our foundress Mother Veronica quoting some of her thoughts on education. She thanked the parents for placing their complete trust and aspirations into our care. Sister assured them that the future of their wards is in safe hands.
The programme was compered by Mrs. Lara Mathias, Mrs. Marina D Souza, KG Co-ordinator welcomed the gathering and Mrs. Nisha Menezes proposed the Vote of Thanks.
