The Students of Grade 9 under the dynamic leadership of their Mentors, bid adieu to their seniors on 30th January ,2023.

The programme commenced by seeking blessings of the Omnipotent on the students of class X as they step out into the society as a citizen. The attributes of a good student and excellent citizens were emphasized through a Prayer Service, symbolically by comparing them with the colors of the rainbow, and was concluded by imploring Lord to shower the students with the qualities such as wisdom, dedication, creativity, faith in God, passion for learning and optimism. The occasion was graced by Sister Sarika, the Principal- a perfect synthesis of values and vision. The young ladies and gentlemen came dressed in their best attires. There was a riot of all hues and colors. The gathering was welcomed gracefully with the dance performed by the students. A skit accentuating the effects of the excess usage of social media by the adolescents was presented. It also stressed on the values that must be upheld as a good human being. The spectators were entertained by the dance performed by the students of class IX. The programme ended by wishing the outgoing students’ success through a wishing song. Mohammed Mashhoor of class X A, Janice Jimmy of class X B and Niharika Prashanth of class X C gave emotionally charged speeches about their educational journey in School. Sister Sarika -The Principal handed over mementoes as a token of love and appreciation. A token of memory was then presented by the Students of Grade 10 to their Alma Mater.

Mrs. Sharada represented the entire staff to wish them luck and success in their future endeavors. Sister Sarika, in her thought-provoking Presidential Address to the outgoing students said “make a difference in whatever you do. There is no greater joy than to see yourself making a difference in the life of another person, to uphold the dignity of humanity and in turn advance the social order around you. Devout your energies to promote unity, integrity and peace, starting from within you, your families, your communities and the society at large”. She further inspired the children to remember the School Motto and continue to be loyal, truthful and honorable in their life.

Sister Violette, The Administrator in her invigorating message reiterated the words of Martin Luther King “Be a Bush, if you can’t be a tree, If you can’t be a Highway, be a Trail, If you can’t be a Sun, be a Star. Be the best of whatever you are. If you can’t fly, RUN If you can’t run, WALK, IF you can’t walk, crawl, Keep moving, keep going.”.

The event was emceed by Prithvi, Huda Abdul Qayyum and Amna. The gathering was welcomed by Maimunath Safwa. ASPL Khyathi Argil proposed the vote of thanks.
