Oct 30, 2022 : Value Education Workshop was conducted in Carmel School on the 28th and 29th of October in Four batches to help the students to create possibilities, works on the solution to the problems of life and has the courage to face the challenges.

The Resource Persons were Rev Fr Rupesh Madtha - Designated Editor, of Raknno and Rev Fr Roshan D Cunha-Director YCS/YSM, Mangalore Diocese.

Rev Fr Rupesh Madtha gave the subject of basic values like Friendship – Definition and Kinds, Humility, Respect, and Discipline. Each value was well-marinated with the right measure of select quotes, action songs, icebreakers, video clippings, discussions, anecdotes, and vignettes. The participants vividly comprehended the applications of the above-mentioned values in life and the need for integrating them into daily life. It motivated them to explore their relationship with God and with others as well as reflect on their faith journey overall.

Rev Fr Roshan D Cunha emphasized on: ‘God’s Love and Forgiveness are infinite’ , ‘Exposing Clemency through God’s Love- Beautiful in Jesus’, The Family- A Resource Par Excellence, Family Values- Healing a Wounded Resource and Ways to nurture God’s Love in the Family. Fr Roshan’s limpid and gripping style of presentation.

with the right blend of definitions, narration of life experiences, anecdotes, scripture references, popular quotes, and questions for thought, offered the participants an invitation to make their lives meaningful, joyful, and pleasing to God.

The workshop on the whole provided students with time for self-reflection and prayer.
