"Empowering Young Minds: Celebrating 1 Year of Cubs and Bulbuls”

Cubs and Bulbul, a unit within the Junior Branch of Scouts & Bulbuls, Carmel school CBSE, Mangaluru , aimed to instill social awareness among the students of primary section. Commemorating its first year, an Investiture Ceremony was organized to acknowledge and honor the remarkable efforts of the students.

Sr. Marie Prem D'Souza, the esteemed Administrator, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, accompanied by Sr. Maria Premal, the Vice Principal, as the Guest of Honor.
The ceremony commenced with a reverent Prayer Service, followed by hoisting of flag. Sr. Maria Prem D'Souza, in her address, lauded the dedication of both teachers and students in making a steady progress in the Scouts & Guides movement. She commended the students for their unwavering enthusiasm and commitment to this noble cause.

The atmosphere resonated with the heartfelt melody of the Bulbul Ring Song, as students gathered around the Bulbul tree, taking the sacred pledge. Guided by trained teachers - Mrs. Lathika, Mrs. Ashwitha, and Mrs. Hazel Lobo - the students were adorned with the Pravesh badge and scarf, symbolizing their induction to the Bulbul crew.

Simultaneously, the Cub Pack, under the guidance of Cub Master Mr Mahesh, performed the Cub Greetings before the flagpole. Taking the oath and receiving the Pravesh badge, the Cubs were enthusiastically supported by Lady Cub Teachers, Sandhya and Preethi Gangamma.

The ceremony culminated with the resonating notes of the National Anthem, symbolizing unity and pride.
