Celebrating Hindi Diwas

The entire Carmel Family with great enthusiasm paused to cherish and pay tribute to the Hindi Language on 14th September, 2023. 

Prior to National Hindi Day a week-long literary competitionfrom September 7 to 14 -pick & speak, debate, collage, storytelling, recitation were conducted for the students of Grades 1 -10 by the Faculty Members of the Hindi Department. 

On 14th September cultural programme was put up by the students of grade 8 B and Hindi Club under the leadership of Mrs Sharada- The Class Guide. The programme included Prayer Service and sharing of interesting facts about the Hindi Language, its history and its cultural significance, quotes, literature and poems from renowned authors and poets were beautifullyexemplified   through skits, songs and dances.

Mr.Prakash G N, The Chief Guest of the Day shed light on the importance of preserving and promoting the Hindi language. Dr Sr Prem D Souza -The Administrator and Sr. Premal-The Vice Principal graced the occasion. 

Aaliyah Fathima, Madiha, Anushvi and Suha compered the programme. Mrs Sharada welcomed the gathering and Samanvi and Aarushi proposed the vote of thanks.
