World Thinking Day - 2022

The Guides and Bulbulbs of Carmel School, Mangaluru celebrated World Thinking Day - 2022 on 22nd February. The programme began with a prayer service invoking God’s blessing on each and everyone.

Sarah Lourdes Noronha welcomed the gathering and Welcome dance was performed by Bulbuls. Nainitha Vasudev Karkera and Yanvi highlighted the significance of the day. Gowravi P and Ancia Jesica Ferrao enacted the role of Lord Baden Powell and Lady Baden Powell. Askit, depicting the principles of Guide law was enacted by the guides, followed by a dance performance. Sister Preena, the Vice Principal of the school in her message, emphasized on the power of positive thinking and readiness to render service. She also reflected on the theme of the year ‘Our World, Our Equal Future’ and history of World Association of Guides and Scouts.

Dhanishka proposed the Vote of Thanks. Shanvitha V compeered the programme. The World Thinking Day 2022 Theme “Our World, Our Equal Future” was highlighted throughout the programme.

All the guides of classes VI to VIII enthusiastically participated in the Shramadan. Guide Captains Mrs.Lathika, Mrs.Ashwitha, Mrs.Sachitha and Mrs.Pavithra were in charge of the entire ‘World Thinking Day’ programme.
