Christmas Celebration

“Christmas is not a time nor a season but a state of mind. To cherish peace and goodwill, to be plenteous in mercy is to have the real.”

Carmel School celebrated Christmas in a unique way with great fervor and enthusiasm. The boundless joy of celebrating this festival was quite evident on the faces of each child. Christmas celebration was held on 23rd December, our students of class V along with class teachers organized a programme, to celebrate Christmas. The celebration was held in our school auditorium. The auditorium was beautifully decorated with flowers and the theme was “Christmas is love in service”. All the students and faculty were very excited and full of enthusiasm for the celebration.

The ceremony began with a prayer service followed by a prayer dance. Then various programmes were organized. One of which was a performance, where a group of students presented a beautiful play on the theme of Christmas. After that, a man disguised as Santa Claus came with gifts. At the end of the programme, the Principal gave her presidential speech.
