With this thought in mind and as a mark of gratitude, The Principal, The Administrator and The Faculty of Carmel School celebrated Senior Citizens’ Day on 20th August 2021, in the Auditorium.
The programme commenced with invoking blessings of God the Almighty and thanking God for the invaluable and integral treasures of the Nation that is The Elders. Sister Sarika, The Principal extended an amiable and hospitable welcome. Mrs Deepthi highlighted the significance of the day.
“Life he realized was much like a song. In the beginning there is mystery, in the end there is confirmation, but it’s in the middle where all the emotions resides to make the whole thing worthwhile.” - Nicholas Sparks. The Faculty greeted the elders with a beautiful rendition of song.
“Our lives are respect for the elderly is a reflection of reverence for God.” Mrs Cynthia articulated words of appreciation and admiration. The scintillating and fantabulous performance of the dancing dancers intensified the joyfulness of the elders. The Congregation there after enthusiastically participated in fun and games. Sister Marie Lucy A.C., the Joint Secretary of St Ann’s Institutions, in her presidential address applauded the hard efforts and the strenuous labour of the entire Faculty of Camel School in thinking and putting up such a lovely programme within a short period of time for the Gems of the Society.
Ms Akshatha impeccably compered the programme.
