Nature is the art of God. ‘Plant a tree for a green tomorrow’. Go green, there is no planet B. If there is future, it will be green. With this in mind, Carmel School held ‘GREENATHON’ to inculcate in students love for Mother Earth.
Following competitions and activities were held for different classes.
- UKG – ‘My Nature My Future’( Fancy Dress Competition)
- Classes I to III – Elocution on “Forests are the Lungs of the Earth”
- Classes IV and V – Poster making – ‘Save Trees Save Earth’
- Classes VI and VII : Nature Melody –Singing Competition.
- Class VIII – ‘Wild Beauty’ – Preparation of a Vase
- Classes IX and X – ‘Green Teen’ -Essay Competition

A short programme was held by the staff and the students of class X. The ‘GREENATHON’ celebration was concluded by handing over the saplings of Avalanda, a flower bearing tree, to the ‘Green Warriors’ of Carmel School. A Welsh Proverb says, “ A seed hidden in the heart of an apple, is an orchard invisible”. Let us discover the hidden orchards to make our Planet Earth clean and green!
