Carmel School hosts an innovative Workshop on ‘Emotional Intelligence - The key to Excellent Leadership’

One-day workshop on ‘Emotional Intelligence - The Key to Excellent Leadership’ was organized for the faculty of Carmel School , Mangaluru on 26 September 2020.

The programme was initiated with inaugural function graced by Sr Dr Maria Roopa, Resource Person of the Workshop, Administrator of St. Ann’s B.ED College of Education, Sister Rose Agnes, the Administrator, Sister Sarika, and the Principal.

The speaker stated the traits of an ideal Leader, types of leaders and the four F’s for excellent leadership. She further elucidated the major components of Emotional Quotient and Emotional Intelligence namely Self Awareness, Self - Management, Social Awareness and Relationship Management with the aid of videos, PPT and concrete examples.

The entire teaching faculty was enriched with the skills imbibed through this thought provoking workshop.

Mrs Jahnavi Sanal flawlessly compeered the programme and accorded a warm welcome. Mrs Sonia Monteiro, Miss Preethi Gangama and Mrs Nisha Menezes articulated their opinion and gratitude to the Resource Person.
