Farewell to Teacher Gracy D’Souza

Carmel School bid farewell to Teacher Gracy on 8th August 2020. The Management and the Staff organized a send off function. On account of COVID 19, only the staff organized a short programme. The programme began with receiving the newly appointed Joint Secretary Sr. Marie Lucy A.C.and Teacher Gracy with garlands, flowers, watering a herbal plant and sprinkling of rose water.

The programme began with a prayer service and prayer dance. Loving welcome was accorded by the Principal followed by a welcome song. A meaningful skit “Teacher- A Blessing to all” was enacted.Words of appreciation were given by teachers Alice Pinto and Venitha Machado. This was followed by felicitation by the Management and the Principal for the loving service of 20 years with generosity, loyalty and dedication. A token of gratitude was also presented by the staff.

Teacher Gracy expressed her sentiments of appreciation and gratitude. A farewell song was sung by the staff. The programme concluded with a sumptuous meal. Mr. Antony Lasrado, husband of teacher Gracy was present for the programme.
