Staff enrichment programme held

“The creative teacher and the creative classroom” was the key message given by Br. Vinay Kumar. The seminar was held on 23rd May 2019 in our school auditorium. This topic was creatively highlighted by the resource person. The session started with a meaningful prayer by Sr. Gracy, our Vice Principal and Ms. Sharmila. Mrs. Cynthia Pais welcomed the resource person and the gathering.

During the sessions, he highlighted some of the creative teaching methods. They are:
1. Planning and organising the class
2. Making learning fun
3. Adding colour to teaching
4. Co-operative learning
5. Techniques of group work.

Br. Vinay also gave few tips to improve classroom environment. He insisted that the teachers should be aware of the dreams and aspirations, needs and desires, problems and struggles of each student. To make a secure classroom, the teacher should create an atmosphere of warmth, joy and freedom.

At the end of the session Br. Vinay gave ideas on disciplining students, effective communication and better relationship with students. The action songs energized the teachers. Ms.Pavithra gave a positive feedback on the sessions. The seminar concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by Mrs. Arpitha.
