July 05: "Green Colour Day" was celebrated in Carmel School. The tiny tots as well as the teachers were attired in different shades of green. A short programme was organised by the UKG students with a prayer, prayer song and dance giving the importance of the colour. To commemorate the importance of the day, children brought ridge gourd and cabbage and shared them with the students of St Ann's Kannada Higher Primary School.The school added to their contribution, cucumber.
The students of St Ann's appreciated and thanked the Principal, Sister Sarika and the little ones. Sister Rosemita, the Headmistress of St Ann's Kannada Hr Pry School and the staff, Sister Rose Agnes, the administrator graced the occasion. At the end of the programme sweets were distributed to all the children. It was all smiles to watch the students walk with vegetables in green bags! Dhanvi Naik welcomed the gathering and Amaz proposed the vote of thanks.
