“Every child is a different kind of flower and all together, make this world a beautiful garden”. It was the birthday of our First Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru who loved children. As a tribute to him this day is celebrated as the children’s day. It was an auspicious day for our wonderful children.
November 14th was a fun filled day for our students. They entered the school with enthusiasm dressed up in colourful extravagant clothes. The Principal and the teachers had planned various interesting events for the students.
The Programme began with a prayer service invoking God to shower his abundant blessings on the students. It was followed by diverse cultural events. They were welcomed by a fabulous dance by our young and energetic teachers. Teachers conducted several spot games and prizes were given to the students.
As a part of the celebration teachers presented action songs and scintillating Indian dances. A value based skit was presented which highlighted a theme “Hard work is a key to success. Teachers also dressed up in a Variety of traditional attire and exhibited their talents through various dances. Our Principal actively participated in the programme.
Ms.Calida Lobo, the school pupil leader thanked the principal and the staff for their wonderful participation and presentation. She also gave the significance of the day. The programme was magnificently compered by Mrs. Cynthia . Mrs. Sachitha proposed the vote of thanks.
