Carmel school, celebrated the feast of our lady of Mount Carmel, the patroness of the school with great joy and exuberance. In honour of closing of the sesquicentennial celebration, Holy Mass was celebrated on 13th July 2018 at Rosario cathedral .The staff and the students of our campus institutions were also present for the mass.

The sisters of St. Ann’s convent, the staff and students of our campus institutions carried 150 lighted candles in the entrance procession signifying sesquicentennial celebrations. Fr. Ivan OCD, the parish priest of Infant Mary’s church and Fr. Flavian, the assistant parish priest of Rosario Cathedral celebrated the thanksgiving Eucharist. At the end scapulars were blessed and distributed.

To mark the sesquicentennial celebration, cultural activities were organized in the school. The students of class X beautifully brought out the hard work and the dedication of Mother Veronica in establishing the Apostolic Carmel congregation, through conversations, dance and Power Point Presentation. The members of Carmel Blossoms honoured Mother Mary with a song and a skit. The students also entertained the audience with dances as a part of the celebrations.

Sr. Sarika, our Principal presided over the programme and addressed the students. In her message, she expressed her admiration for the qualities of Mother Mary and encouraged the students to imbibe the same.
