Value Education Workshop

A two days workshop on Value Education “Joyful Living” for the teachers of our school was conducted on 28th and 29th of May. The main theme of this workshop was “Open your arms to change, but don’t let go of your values”.

There were three resource persons: Sr. Euna A.C. - a retired Principal, Sr. Rosemarie A.C. - a retired teacher and Sr. Sylvette A.C.- a retired Professor of St. Agnes College, Mangaluru.

Sr.Euna enlightened the staff on the basic values. She gave life situations to support the various values.

Sr.Rosemarie lectured on the topic - Responsibility of teachers as role models in value education and on how value education can be an integral part of school teaching. The teachers were divided class wise and they presented model lessons from the value education (Joyful Living ) books.

Sr.Sylvette gave an efficient lecture on Ecological awareness in value education lessons. The teachers were asked to explore relationship between human beings and the environment. The teachers actively participated in the sessions and gained maximum knowledge.
